I'm terribly sorry I'm not going back for NBC ): Trust me, I've thought a lot about it, I've lost so much sleep, I've talked w so many people, I've pulled out so many strands of hair. I'm sorry if this seems like I'm breaking my promise to you guys, but today something happened that really made me decide I don't have to go back for NBC. And you guys will do fine w/o us. Do try to play louder, tho. (Did you know we were in the room next to you all, listening to you play? >) )

Whatever it is, I wish you guys all the best for NBC, there are seniors who will be going back. Yes, nice and kind seniors unlike me who is feeling self-centered and selfish now ._. No matter what people will say to you in the upcoming month leading up to the competition, please don't take them to heart. Esp things like ~~you can't play~~, or ~~you're pulling the band down~~. Our section has been through so many of these negative comments ._. Whatever others say, continue working hard and do yourselves and the section proud.

Once again, I'm terribly very extremely sorry, please don't hate me or wdv kay D: Will try to go back for sectionals occasionally (:

Nevertheless, Jubilate was GREAT(: Had lotsa fun taking pictures of u'll all, eating at ichiban sushi, which i forgot to take photos probably because i was too tired, playing on stage and practicing at the dance studio . I realise i love trumpets so much although I only joined band for only 1 and a half years . Without Claudia, Marianne, Marissa, Michelle, Weiyun, Alana, Jolynn, Valerie, Natasha and Jiawen i don't know if i will still be standing at where i am today. Ok so cliche and mushy but in sec 1 ms sia always send me out and scold me infront of the sec1 squad band. Although i break down most of the time, Marianne, claudia, michelle, marissa and all of u were still be there for me(: I feel so much better with you'll around. Like marissa,claudia and marianne will try so hard to teach a music idiot (which i still am now) the c major for many band pratices. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH for that ): I love you'll! (: I will definitely miss Sec4s alot!): So becareful! I will confirm WITHOUT HESITATION spam your msn, phone inbox and burst out to a enthu HI when i see you in sch! Don't give me the weird look if i do that kay!! Will be hurted;/ OHOHOH! AND I Regreted not hugging you all! I realise Greys didnt hug you all during POP or Jubilate ): Boo hoo!!! Hey guys! I wanna confess that i haven't been trying very hard to make an effort to get to know all of you. I dread every band practice and just go and get it over with just because i had to but i now realise how dumb that was. I mean, since i HAD to go for band like 8 hours a week for almost 52 weeks, i may as well have made full use of that time right? I never knew how much band has become a part of me. You may think its a chore now but you all are gonna miss it! Trust me, i thought i couldn't wait to finally get out of band. I am relieved, but I'm going to miss it. It's like a chapter of your life is gone forever in just a blink of an eye and then you start to realise how much you haven't treasured it enough.

Being in band isn't just about playing your trumpet well. It's the people too. & I'm glad that i have the best sectionmates everrr! To WeiYun, Alana and Valerie, I'm so proud of us being so bonded throughout these 3 yrs++, going through everything from our first ever performance (with the yellows!)to our last Jubilate, and from being the clueless sec1s that we were to seniors now who have just passed on our duty in band to the next batch of bandits! I'm reeeally going to miss you guys and my life in band wouldn't be as great if it weren't for you babes! Having good company is like half the joy of being in band and being able to play your instrument & songs well is just a bonus.

To the juniors, you all are really fun company. It took me a year to accept the whites as part of the section and another year to accept the greys but its too bad that we no longer have the chance to play together as a section anymore. JiaWen and Natasha, you all went through SYF with us and witnessed firsthand the drive we had to practice hard so I'm sure you all will do a great job pumping the section up for NBC and SYF next year too! Both of you have great potential to play well and to develop the section even further so don't deprive yourselves of that okay! To the greys, i kinda see a little bit of the greens in you all and i hope you guys will have the same awesome experiences as us and stay bonded till the end!

Overall, don't leave band with any regrets. & work hard together for SYF even though it may get tough because the feeling of achieving your goal after so much hard work is really priceless!(We celebrated for like 2 weeks!) & the experience will be a memorable one.

And thank you all for the BEST POP we've ever had in band! Seriously, it was awesome and you guys probably know that yourselves too! Thank you for preparing the yummy food & Marissa, thank you for booking the superrr classy room for us! Even though we messed the place up pretty badly by the next day. And did you guys realise that the whole night of playing Articulate was like our first ever successful section bonding?! And we didn't even plan for it! Yup, so it was a very good ending(: I was already missing it on my way home! I'll miss you guys and i love you all!

Anyway as your (retired) SL I wanna thank you for the past one year and everything you've contributed to band (: Everytime I see someone bringing the instru home I feel damn proud of you cause I know just how heavy it is. Although some sections beg to differ. But carrying it home is really very tiring. So thankyou everyone for practicing so hard (:

Idk whether you think you can do it for NBC or SYF, but trust me, so long you work hard you will get there. Last year we didn't think a Gold was possible for SYF, but look at where we are (: Right now, we're part of a GWH band and I'm sure you guys want to keep the legacy righttttt, so must continue working hard! I've said this numerous times, but I'll say it again. SL and ASL must lead the section well and the rest must follow :D Don't give them trouble okay, what they ask you to do must followzxzx. Because I've been thru this, so I can safely tell you its not easy to speak over 10+ trumpets.

No matter how tough the going gets, always remember to help each other, pick each other up along the way, don't leave people behind and regret it later on alright (:

We'll always remember you guys don't worry lol. We're a pretty awesome section, albeit slightly anti-social but who cares we have fun by ourselves in high class places while the rest of the world is at Chalets :D

All the best in band/ studies/ life. The world sucks but we will survive :D

PS: I really think Noah's Ark is a pretty good song so if you enjoy the song and feel the song it would really do wonders to your playing. Because your techniques may be perfect but if you do not inject feelings into your playing it's not gonna work (:

Omg I'm crying like an idiot alone at home right now. Thankgod my family's out. I've just read your POP letters and everything again and burst into tears -.-

I'm really gonna miss you guys so so so much. Thanks a million for this awesome POP (: It was a really nice surprise :D I have a limited range of vocab and can't express how awesome it was (: And it's totally awesome how well our section can Articulate. :D I mean, Weiyun and I own(: I had a really fun time laughing at/with/by (oh gosh the grammatical error, uh you get what I mean) y'all! Improvement idea! :D

1. Let's have lots of boxes in the section to contain Essential Elements/ I Recomment/ 3D Band Book/ Files (according to parts)/ Stands/ Mutes/ Tuners! OMG I'm darn eggcited for shopping trip on Tuesday! Are we inviting the Retired Ones?

2. Roster for carrying all those stupid shiz! Hee I'm in the process of working something out aite :D

3. Section Diary! Like this book then we pass around and write entries in it! I think its so cool, wheeeee :D

POP is over, and the blues has passed out. Now it's left with GreensWhitesGreys. We can do it right? (:

I'm think all of us enjoyed ourselves a lot during POP, enjoyed our last time spent together as a section and all. Well, it wasn't easy for us to be bonded like that, we've been through so much together! And sometimes, not so together. :/ This time, the BluesGreensWhites are so bonded and close <3

SexyTrumpets has emerged triumphant!

POP stay was da bombz! We had such a nice room all thanks to Annabelle and her mum! :D So, we totally had fun having Fairmont's Next Top Model PhotoShoots! Whoever has the photos quickly send :D

Jubilate VI

Jubilate VI. The last performance we'll have as a section. The last time we'll ever play together as a band. I enjoyed it tremendously.

Personally, I felt that throughout this one year, we've grown a lot as a section. Happy or unhappy incidents, we've managed to walk out almost unchanged. We're much more bonded as a section now, aite? (: Seriously we never even shed a single tear last year! D:

So we spent the whole of Jubilate VI day taking last photos. Next week, Huimin and Bernadette ain't coming for band (and Weiyun'll die), so technically Thursday was our last band prac together ): (And trumpets JUST had to set up on that day. URGH) DON'T Y'ALL JUST THINK THAT THE REHEARSAL IN THE HOLDING ROOM WAS UNBELIEVABLE? :D The intensity was seriously there. One thing I love about SNSB is how we pluck music out of nowhere, and make it oh-so-wonderful. (: Victory was the part that made me so emotionally-high D: Then at the section hug I just broke down lah ): The first ever section hug we ever ever had, and it spoke so much, without trying. Some things don't have to be said yeah?

&The performance on stage. Wasn't as well as in the Holding Room, but whatever. We're good :D As the last chord intensified and resonated, I felt a tinge of sadness ): That would be the last note we ever play as a band. E for firsts, C# for seconds, A for thirds. Jericho was the perfect end. From the Years of Exile (Separation more like it), we proceeded to fight battles (NBC, Genting, SYF) and emerged with VICTORY! and now we have Celebration. On POP, it ends on this perfect chord.

I'm sorry but we're busy people, we do not blog here frequently ):

Today's punishment session was da bomb right! :D I can feel muscles forming. I think this is much better than pumping alone. You get jelly arms lah! But you know my WO Squats I was like DYING by 7 ): 10 WO Squats = 49 actual Squats. Idk why I went to do tho. I purposely wore shorter pinafore today cause I thought have drills! ): SIGHHHH so out of a bit of guilt and a lot is to accompany Christine Fat Lim Kai Ling. See I so nice :D OMG I just typed a load of crap ): AIYA.

WE MUST HAVE POP MEETING SOON PEOPLE. Sec threes are busy fellas. I show you!
